Milwaukee Art Museum Workers Deserve a Fair First Contract!

Sign the open letter in support of IAMAW Milwaukee Art Museum Union workers who are seeking a fair first union contract with living wages, dignity, and respect.

In November of 2020, workers at the Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) overwhelmingly voted to join the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Local Lodge 66. The new Machinists Union members work in every capacity at the Milwaukee Art Museum including Visitor Services, Food and Beverage, Education & Programs, Information Systems, Facilities and more.

Since February of 2021, the workers of the Milwaukee Art Museum have been engaged in first contract negotiations seeking to find agreement and partnership that will fulfill the MAM’s mission and realize the goals set forth in MAM’s 2020 Strategic Direction. Workers at the Milwaukee Art Museum are fighting for fair and living wages, job security, diversity and equity, and career advancement.

Sign the letter to the Milwaukee Art Museum Board of Trustees. Let them know you value the livelihoods and humanity of the employees of the Milwaukee Art Museum and want to see workers fairly compensated, valued, and respected with a fair union contract.
