Bringing solidarity from Wisconsin union members, Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Stephanie Bloomingdale joined the UAW Local 94 strike line in Dubuque, Iowa.
Led by UAW Local 94 President Chad Kaiser, UAW Local 94 members, together with 10,000 UAW members at 14 John Deere locations Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Georgia and Colorado, have been on strike since midnight on October 14.
UAW members at John Deere are fighting for a fair contract with an improved standard of living, fair retirement benefits, and a better work environment.
Across the country, working people are flexing our muscles and taking back power. With thousands of workers on strike, October is now known as #Striketober.

The labor movement is about coming together in solidarity to build a better future for all workers in every sector. Working people kept our country running through this pandemic and many corporations, John Deere included, are now making record profits. It’s time for working people to get our fair share.
Striking workers are fighting for all of us and we are united in the goal to ensure quality pay and benefits for future generations of workers. Solidarity to all UAW workers on strike at John Deere and to every worker on strike across our country.
Together, we can and will win for workers.
