Working people in Wisconsin continue to bring the full-court press to Pass the PRO Act with in-person events at Senate offices around the state. Click here to find an upcoming event near you. Please note the corrected time for the Madison event on Thursday, July 22, at Senator Johnson’s Madison office is 6:00 p.m.
“Ron Johnson can’t hide from workers,” says Stephanie Bloomingdale, President of the Wisconsin AFL-CIO, pictured above at Devil’s Doorway in Baraboo with South Central Federation of Labor President Kevin Gundlach. “If we want to have a healthy American middle class, we need strong unions. Since Senator Ron Johnson has refused to meet and discuss this vital pro-worker legislation, we are getting creative to raise our voices for a just recovery with Senate passage of the pro-worker Protecting the Right to Organize Act.”
“From every corner of Wisconsin, workers are calling on Senator Johnson to support the PRO Act,” said Kevin Gundlach, President of the South Central Federation of Labor. “Ron Johnson continues to refuse to meet with workers to discuss how we can build back better with strong unions. Working people will keep up the call to urge the Senator to vote YES to pass the PRO Act with rallies, postcards, phone calls and more.”
Join us this week as actions continue to urge the Senate to pass the PRO Act.

The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act is the labor law reform we need to protect workers and unions. If the PRO Act passes in the Senate, President Biden will sign it into law. Senator Baldwin proudly supports the PRO Act. Senator Johnson has refused to meet with workers to discuss the PRO Act, so working people are getting creative to call on Senator Johnson to support workers, support unions, support the PRO Act with postcards and in-person actions around the state.
On Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin union members rallied outside Senator Baldwin’s office to thank the Senator for supporting the PRO Act. Milwaukee Area Labor Council President Pam Fendt delivered a special thank you poster card for the Senator to Tiffany Henry, Milwaukee Office Director for Senator Baldwin.
On Tuesday in Oshkosh, union and community members rallied in Ron Johnson's hometown to call on the Senator to support workers and our unions by supporting the PRO Act. Fox Valley Labor Council President Mark Westphal delivered a letter to Senator Johnson's office urging the Senator to vote YES on the PRO Act.
On Tuesday in Superior, Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Stephanie Bloomingdale joined members of the Superior Federation of Labor for a roundtable discussion on the need to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act. Workers held signs targeting Senator Johnson that read, “Ron, can you hear us? Vote PRO” “Listen to the workers of Wisconsin” and “remember Wisconsin workers, vote PRO Act.”
