The Wisconsin Spring Election is just a week away on Tuesday, April 6. Voters will decide our next State Superintendent of Public Instruction and elect hundreds of local leaders across the state. The Wisconsin AFL-CIO has endorsed Dr. Jill Underly for Superintendent and local labor councils have made endorsements in local races.
Help us elect pro-worker leaders, join our virtual phone banks to get out the vote at wisaflcio.org/mobilize.
Early in-person voting continues this week until possibly April 4. Check with your municipal clerk’s office for times and locations to vote early in your area.
If you plan to vote absentee, request and return your ballot ASAP. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, April 1, at 5 p.m. All absentee ballots must be received by clerks no later than 8:00 pm on Election Day. Return your absentee ballot as soon as possible. Along with mailing, you can return your ballot in-person at your clerk's office or to a secure absentee ballot drop box.
Our union member to union member phone banks will be running all week long. Sign up to make calls at wisaflcio.org/mobilize. An organizer will follow up to get you started.
Together, we can make sure our schools and communities work for workers by making our voices heard and using our union voting power in Wisconsin’s Spring Election on April 6.
