Union members are fired up and ready to go! In just 16 days, we will hold Donald Trump accountable for rolling back workplace safety and failing to keep working families safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
On Saturday, union members from around Wisconsin gathered on Zoom for a virtual rally and phone bank to kick off our Labor 2020 “Get out the Vote” (GOTV) sprint to Election Day. We are having one and one conversations with fellow union members about what’s at stake this November.
Join our virtual phone banks at wisaflcio.org/mobilize. We will provide a quick training and answer any questions you have along the way.
Thank you to guest speakers Attorney General Josh Kaul, U.S. Representative Mark Pocan and Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Jon Richards for joining the rally and reminding workers of the importance of our vote. Mark your calendars now, our next virtually rally will be held Saturday, October 24.📣
Do you have a vote plan? Early in-person voting begins this Tuesday, October 20 in Wisconsin. You can also still request an absentee ballot at myvote.wi.gov and vote by mail. Whether you vote early, vote by mail, or vote in-person on November 3, have a plan and a backup plan to cast your ballot. Download our Wisconsin AFL-CIO Voter Guide at wisaflcio.org/voter-guide to answer any questions.
Union members are ready to vote for good jobs and a workers first economic recovery grounded in America’s Economic Essentials. We are 2020 voters and we are union!
