Labor 2018 is underway! As working people, we use an independent, issue-based approach to politics in order to advance a worker-centered agenda so we can write new economic rules so our families and communities can thrive.
This election cycle, we’re focusing on the issues that matter most. Fairer wages, better benefits, paid time off, a secure retirement and respect for the inherent value and dignity of work.
We’ve endorsed candidates up and down the ballot, all across the state, that will support working families when in office. We’re supporting our candidates this weekend and every day through election day with union member canvasses, phone banks and worksite leafletting.
Join us this weekend as we go door-to-door to talk with working families about the importance of the November 6, 2018 elections.
The Wisconsin AFL-CIO and the Union Veterans Council will be hosting a special canvass with union ironworker and Army veteran Randy Bryce, candidate to represent the families of Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District. Join working families and veterans at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, at the Racine Labor Temple, 1840 Sycamore Ave., Racine, WI for a Union Veterans Canvass with candidate Randy Bryce.
Our collective action will get pro-labor candidates elected to begin to make a change. Stop into one of our Labor 2018 volunteer locations and help us turn up the vote for working families!
