This weekend I joined the Missouri State AFL-CIO and workers in St. Louis to stop Right to Work by voting NO on Prop A in the upcoming August election.
We know firsthand in Wisconsin that Right to Work does not create jobs and only lowers wages and hurts small businesses that rely on spending from working families. Union-busting proposals like Right to Work do nothing to make our country a better place to live and work.
I am honored to bring a message of solidarity and strength from Wisconsin workers to Missouri workers fighting Right to Work. An injury to one is an injury to all. We are stronger by joining together in our workplaces around the country as one united labor movement.
Right to Work is bad for the middle-class economy because it will drive down wages, hurt job creation, and slow down the Missouri economy. CEOs and big business lobbyists support Right to Work because it will drive down wages. Right to Work is WRONG. Every Missourian worker should vote NO on Proposition A and reject Right to Work.
The Missouri labor movement supported Wisconsin workers when Scott Walker attacked our rights. Now we are proud to stand in solidarity with Missouri workers to VOTE NO on Prop A and stop Right to Work from becoming law in Missouri.
