Madison Welcomes 100% Union Grocer

ShoppersThe South Central Federation of Labor has received some exciting news! United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1473 is proud to announce the opening of a 100% Union grocer in the Madison area.

Metro Markets is located at 6010 Cottage Grove Road Madison, WI 53718.  Doors are open to the public!


UFCW Local 1473 and the South Central Federation of Labor are asking union households to show their support by wearing their union attire and visiting the new location on Saturday, June 14, any time throughout the day. Let's support establishments that respect workers' rights and bring workers to the table from day one.


UFCW Representative Chad Whiteside will be Metro Markets on June 14 from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m. to welcome those of us who chose to show support.
