On June 1, 2012, pizza workers at Palermo’s Pizza in the Menomonee Valley walked off the job for better wages, safe working conditions and the right to a union. Since then, Palermo's has refused to meet with workers. Recently, OSHA has cited Palermo's for 8 safety violations and a workplace accident in May resulted in a worker losing three fingers.
One year later, workers want the owners of Palermo’s, the Falluca brothers, to know that they’re not done fighting for justice and they won't quit until they sit down at the table to negotiate a resolution to their dispute.
RAIN OR SHINE join strikers and their loved ones on Saturday, June 1, 2013 for an 18-mile March for a Slice of Justice. Share the Face Book event page!
The march will begin with a sendoff rally at 8:00 a.m. at Palermo’s at 3301 W. Canal St., and end with an 8:00 p.m. candlelight vigil at Palermo's owner home.
It’s a long march from Palermo’s in Milwaukee to the owner’s home in Mequon, but it’s also been a long fight. We encourage you to take part at any point of the day that works for you.

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your blog when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're working with? I'm going to start my own blog soon but I'm having a tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% positive. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kudos

Wow. I have never watched BB, and had no idea about this until reading this post. Sounds like CBS has missed a chance to turn this into a real teachable, soul-searching moment. I like your point about how we think racism is over because we have a black president – true, many of the injustices and blatant de jure discrimination of the past have been addressed, but it’s the subtle (or not so subtle) comments, language, and stereotypes that continue, and do real damage. Words matter, and I agree with you, we need to shine a light on this and what it reveals about this supposedly post-racial generation. Great post.
