Budget Hearings: Make Your Voice Heard

We wanted to make sure that you had the most up-to-date version of our 2013-2015 Biennial Budget Analysis Document.   Included in this budget breakdown are specific ways Gov. Walker’s budget proposals hurt middle class families.  Also included are 7 surprising budget provisions.

The Joint Finance Committee will hold four public budget hearings for citizens to provide testimony on the budget.  It is critical that working families attend these hearings to make our voices heard.   

Joint Finance Hearing Schedule:

•    Greendale, Thursday, April 4, 10:00am to 6:00pm at Greendale High School Auditorium, 6801 Southway, Greendale, WI, 53129

•    Green Bay, Monday, April 8, 10:00 am to 5:00pm at Lambeau Field, Legends Club Room, 4th Level, Lambeau Field Atrium, 1265 Lombardi Avenue, 54304

•    Lake Delton, Wednesday, April 10, 10:00am to 5:00pm at Kalahari Resort, Suites 2 and 7 (Main Level), 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin Dells, WI  53965

•    Baldwin, Thursday, April 18, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Baldwin-Woodville High School Auditorium, 1000 13th Avenue, Baldwin, WI  54002

You can also submit written testimony at budgetcomments@legis.wisconsin.gov or mail testimony to:     JFC Clerk, Room 305 East, State Capitol, Madison, WI, 53702.

We need to make our voices heard at these hearings to reverse the harm Scott Walker and his allies are trying to inflict on Wisconsin families.  Your testimony will be critical in helping to move our state forward.
