ALERT: The dirty tricks continue. We’ve just gotten word that an out-of-state, right-wing group is calling Wisconsinites and telling them to wait to get an absentee ballot in the mail rather than voting today.
This is false information, sent out in recorded phone calls by out-of-staters who want to keep us from voting today in the recall election today.
Don’t be confused or intimidated, these tricks are despicable!
If you live in one of these districts, nothing you do today is more important than casting your vote and putting the brakes on Gov. Scott Walker’s anti-worker agenda.
Here are the candidates endorsed by the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO in the July 12 primary and August 9 General Elections:
District 2: Nancy Nusbaum
District 8: Sandy Pasch
District 10: Shelly Moore
District 14: Fred Clark
District 18: Jessica King
District 32: Jennifer Shilling
Please spread the word to your friends, family and coworkers about these phony phone calls and how important it is to vote today. You can find more information about the phone scam here: http://www.bluecheddar.net/
To find your polling location click here. To view a map of the Senate Districts click here. More recall information can be found at the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO blog here.
Out-of-state extremists are trying to scam Wisconsin voters and block the people from voting. Their recorded phone calls are not true. 6 Wisconsin districts have voting today between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
If you got one of these calls, and have the ability to record your it with your computer or an answering machine, please be do, and let us know.
These people intentionally attempted to cause others to lose some of their Constitutional rights....When the Dems are back in power nationally, I hope the first they do is pass strict laws against this....If these neo fascists see a few of their peers spending time in a Federal prison somewhere, they might be less willing to participate....and what a worthwhile use for Guantanamo....
