Update Day Nine: Walkerville Re-Opens for Business

After the Farmer's Market, Walkerville will re-open for businness today, Saturday June 11, at 3:00 pm.

Tonight, at 7:00 pm, local country singer Whitney Mann will perform at the stage on top of State Street (where Carroll and Mifflin meet). 

Tomorrow, Sunday, June 12, there will be a community meal at 4:00 pm.  At 5:00pm, former Senator Russ Feingold will be visiting Walkerville.  Folk legends Lou and Peter Berryman will perform and "Newsies" will be shown as the nightly movie.

On Tuesday, the Assembly will vote on the budget, and the Supreme court could rule any day.  So come on down to Walkerville this week, pitch a tent, and join the family-friendly community as we continue to protest the Republican’s extreme agenda.
