M&I Actions Pick up Steam Across Wisconsin

Wisconsin’s families work hard and play by the rules.  So far in this recession, they bailed out big corporations, suffered rounds and rounds of layoffs, lost benefits and tightened their belts all around. 

Taxpayers bailed out M&I Bank with $1.7 billion dollars of their hard-earned money. Instead of repaying that debt to taxpayers M&I executives spent nearly $200,000 on political contributions to Governor Scott Walker and politicians who support Walker’s agenda. 

Now Wisconsinites are standing up across the state, from Racine to Superior, to ask M&I Bank for shared sacrifice.
