Last Tuesday, Wisconsin workers traveled to Montreal, Canada for the Bank of Montreal shareholders meeting in order to protest the large bonuses M&I Bank executives are receiving in the deal.
When questioned by WEAC’s Betsy Kipper and Jim Sinclair of the B.C. Federation of Labor, a BMO executive admitted that the bonuses were ‘large and unreasonable’.
David A. Galloway Chairman of the Board of the BMO also revealed at the meeting that he supports collective bargaining (see video above).
