The Capitol is abuzz with activity this evening as hundreds prepare to spend the night in protest to Gov. Walker’s attacks on Wisconsin workers. Sleeping bags, pillows and pajamas may be new to the venue but fighting for basic union and human rights is an essential part of American history.
Impromptu talks with Representatives are occurring. In the picture aside teachers are discussing the detrimental affects that the budget proposal would have on education with Rep. Stephen Naas. Public employees are not only expressing their gratitude at having a voice on the job but the fact that the union plays an indispensable role in ensuring that every child gets the best education possible.
As we write the Joint Committee on Finance is holding a hearing. Testimony is being broadcast via temporary TVs throughout the Rotunda. Many have settled in for the night and will not back down until the Legislature listens to the 50,000+ workers and community members who have expressed their opposition to Walker’s plan to eliminate collective bargaining rights. Please join us for rallies tomorrow as the fight for our rights continues. Click here for details on tomorrows events at the Capitol.

I stand with the citizens of Wisconsin because what they are able to accomplish in that state will travel all over this country
Every citizen in America should get behind these wonderful brave citizens and give them the courage to stand firm for their rights

Here is the best example of why Americans hate Unions, especially in the public sector. These blood suckers just keep on taking dollars from the taxpayer's wallets with NO let-up in sight.
