A great opportunity has been foolishly thrown away not only by Governor-elect Scott Walker but also by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and The Greater Milwaukee Committee.

MMAC has an M7 Group "to build the region's capacity and accelerate economic growth". Yet they donated at least $381,500 to Scott Walker to work against their stated goals.

Now why would they do this?
Is there really another agenda they're after?
Could that be corporate and upper individual tax breaks?

More jobs and economic development are clearly apparent with the Madison train and the Talgo plant, but they remain mute.

Hypocrisy?

Also lost in the Madison train debate is the inclusion of 3 more airports close to Wisconsin's passenger train corridor:
Crites Field in Waukesha, Watertown Municipal Airport and Truax Field in Madison. It is an easy link-up with cabs, vans and buses.
