Across Wisconsin, regional Political Steering Committees have already started to plan local actions as part of Labor 2010. These meetings are the guiding force behind the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO political field program.
“Our statewide labor walk kick off will be held on July 24th in support of Tom Barrett for governor and Russ Feingold’s senate reelection,” says Rogers. “These candidates recognize that the right to form or join a union is a critical part of creating high quality jobs as we rebuild our state.”
