Since Congress took up the health care debate last summer, Wisconsin union members have urged their elected officials to pass real reforms which control costs through a public insurance option and do not place an additional tax burden on working families. Workers across the state have made over 5,000 phone calls and written over 50,000 letters on the subject of health care, and we can’t afford to let up now.
The House and Senate have passed health care reform measures, but now they have to hammer out a final bill they all can agree on. We have to keep the pressure on to ensure that the final version will help, not hurt, working families.

Urge him or her to support working families by voting for health care reform that:
- DOES NOT tax our health care benefits.
Requires employers to pay their fair share.
- Reduces costs—and the best way to do that is with a public health care option.
