As of yesterday, Wisconsin union members have made 1,644 phone calls and written 12,349 letters to Congress on the issue of health care reform. If you haven’t participated recently, what are you waiting for? The number to call is:
It is worth repeating what our expectations are. Wisconsin working families are calling for immediate health care reform which:
• Includes a public health insurance option
• Requires all employers to pay their fair share
• Rejects new taxes that would hurt working families
Our next official Day of Action is on November 5, but the phone line is open today and every day until meaningful reform becomes law!
