“Workers Indivisible” Convention Kicks Off in Appleton

On Monday, October 1, delegates of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO met in Paper Valley for the 27th Biennial Conference of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO. 

Hundreds of labor delegates are coming together for a two-day conference to discuss a variety of topics including the need for solidarity among all working people, good job creation for Wisconsin and a fair and balanced economy for all working people.  The theme of the convention is "Workers Indivisible." 

Over the course of the convention, delegates will hear from a variety of state and national leaders as they discuss the future of the labor movement and the immediate need to elect working family champions in November 2012.
