This Saturday at 9:30 am in Green Bay, the Wisconsin Truth Tour will kick off at the Teamsters Hall,1546 Main Street.
The Wisconsin Truth Tour is a statewide bus tour which will give Wisconsinites a chance to speak out on the impact of Scott Walker’s devastating budget and union-busting measures.
Despite slashing education, health care and public services for local communities, Scott Walker, often met by protesting citizens, has been spewing talking points and spin at events around the state. Now, we have a chance to speak out on how we have been impacted by his devastating policy changes.
Over the next two and a half weeks, the Wisconsin Truth Tour will make stops in Baraboo, Hudson, Kenosha, La Crosse, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, and Rhinelander. (See below for list of specific dates)
After the rally on Saturday, there will be ‘Get out the Vote’ canvass and phone banking opportunities in support of Sen. Dave Hansen. Sen. Hansen faces a general election this Tuesday, July 19 in Senate District 30. In February, Sen. Hansen, a former teacher and Teamster union brother, stood up for Wisconsin workers and their unions by leaving the state in order to block the collective bargaining bill. Now, it is our turn to stand up for Sen. Hansen. He has a proven record of supporting the Wisconsin union movement and the middle class.

They should be doing what they said they would do and that is to work on the jobs issue. Instead they are trying to kill unions and public education and health care. They are insidious and they are going to regret their radical actions.
